I’ve been talking a lot about my summer wardrobe and it’s just about complete. I haven’t switched into wearing it just yet since I want to finish wearing my spring wardrobe until the end of May. Then, on June 1st, I’ll switch to my summer wardrobe.
With planning, I’ve also been thinking a lot about different outfit combinations to wear. I like to brainstorm wardrobe combinations to have a good idea of some favorite outfits before the season starts.
I do this by starting with either one top or one pair of pants and writing down all the different items I can wear with it. That leaves me with multiple outfits from one item.
One of the items I’ve added so far is my new Tradlands short sleeve oxford. I love this type of top and made sure to have a few in my summer wardrobe. I love this white one from Tradlands particularly. It has a really nice box shape with slits on the side that makes it easy to front tuck. It’s also not sheer which is always a concern with white blouses.
So, today I’m sharing the first of a three part styling series:
3 ways to wear a short sleeve oxford
For those of you unsure of how to wear one, how to style one, or just want some fresh outfit ideas I hope this series is helpful!
Outfit 1: Dark Wash Jeans and Oxford Shoes
The first way to wear one is a simple combination perfect for a casual work environment or cool spring day.
All you need is a pair of dark wash jeans. You can really wear any shape or style when it comes to what jeans you choose. I think a pair of dark wash wide leg jeans would look really chic with this top.
Add a pair of menswear inspired shoes like these double monk straps I’m wearing and you have a perfectly subtle menswear inspired look with a feminine touch!
