I hope you all had a nice weekend! Mine was spent taking photos, sewing, cooking, and not leaving the apartment much. I feel like I got a lot accomplished and am ready to start the work week again!
Speaking of work, today’s post is about work pants. My favorite non-denim work pants.
My office has a casual dress code so jeans and t-shirts are options to wear. It’s nice to not have to dress up everyday but I told myself when I started my job I wanted to challenge myself to only wear jeans a few days a week.
So, I started looking around different brands hoping to find an ethical pair of trousers to wear on a weekly basis. That’s when I found these Everlane straight leg crop pants. I had purchased two of the wide leg pants previously and knew they were extremely comfortable and versatile.
Everlane had recently released the straight leg crop version of the wide leg crop so I gave them a try and added this green pair to my wardrobe. One of my favorite purchases in the past year.
They’re comfortable, casually dressy, the color adds a nice pop of green to my wardrobe, and they are beautifully menswear inspired.
If you’re looking for a pair of work chinos, I highly recommend giving these a try.
As far as styling them, this is one of my favorite ways to wear them. I usually wear an oxford, a t-shirt, or a crew neck sweater in the fall/winter. Now that it’s spring, I plan on wearing these with delicate blouses and short sleeve oxfords.
