I think I’ve mentioned before that I usually opt to spend money on shoes and pants. And if I haven’t, then I’d like to mention that if I’m spending money on clothing, I usually end up spending it on a pair of shoes or a pair of pants. This has left me with a fairly neglected blouse wardrobe.
I’m not sure why that is exactly to be honest. I think it’s mostly a style comfort thing. I know I feel comfortable in oxfords and t-shirts, so I tend to stick to those. They are my favorite but I really want to wear more blouses like the one in today’s post. So, my mission this spring was to focus mainly on curating a more robust blouse collection.
Since I’ve started my goal I’ve been slowly collecting a few blouse here and there such as the one featured in this post.
One type of blouse I was really excited to try was a white puff sleeve blouse. They look so romantic and effortless paired with jeans and knew it was a look I wanted to replicate.
I finally found this one from Marcellamoda (you can use the code Mary10 for 10% off your purchase) that fit exactly what I had in mind. Every time I wear this top with a pair of simple skinny denim, I feel so effortlessly chic.
I wore this outfit to work this week and felt so stylish the entire day.
The simple power of a white blouse and jeans.
