What’s more simple than a white t-shirt? Maybe a pair of blue jeans. Maybe. If anything, they’re on the same level of simplicity.
Sometimes though, the simplest of items still need some inspiration for styling. Do you also get stuck sometimes thinking of ways to wear a white t-shirt? If I don’t sit down and brainstorm outfit combinations, I tend to stick to the same outfits.
I have this great and versatile white t-shirt in my closet yet all I could think of to wear it with at first was jeans. I then sat down and wrote down all the ways I could wear this top this summer.
Are you looking for new ideas or ways to wear your white t-shirt? Maybe you’re wearing yours the same way over and over and want some fresh ideas. Or ideas for accessories to dress up a simple white shirt a bit.
So, today let’s explore three ways to style a white t-shirt this summer.
How to style a white t-shirt this summer
I have had the hardest time finding a white t-shirt that fits well and looks good. I don’t like when they’re too fitted, too short, or too loose. Luckily, I found this t-shirt from Organic Basics that is the perfect fit. Also, Organic Basics is offering my readers 10% off anything in their store using the code MARYEXOB at checkout.
Alright let’s get started!
Denim shorts and espadrilles
I live in denim shorts in the summer. There’s nothing more easy, versatile, and comfortable in my opinion. A white t-shirt and denim shorts though can sometimes feel a little too simple. So, adding these espadrilles adds that extra touch to dress it up a bit more.
Which, is why I bought these shoes in the first place. An accessory that can easily elevate any casual outfit. They’re also super comfortable.
Black Shorts and Leather Sandals
Black and white. Classic and always looks good. I don’t wear black and white as much as I’d like. I have a hard time with styling black pants with white blouses. However, summer is much easier. I’m not sure why but wearing black shorts with a white summer top feels so much more effortless than the long pants counterpart.
The shorts I’m wearing here are really old (maybe 5 years?) so I linked the Elizabeth Suzann pair which I plan on eventually wearing instead of these.
Chinos and clogs
I was on the fence about purchasing these chinos. I’ve been saving for a pair of Jesse Kamm pants at the cost of $395 but then found these which are $68. I mostly just wanted to add a pair of beige wide leg pants to my closet to wear to work this summer. So, I made the decision to get the one at the more practical price. I am very happy I did! They’re comfortable and have the exact look I was hoping for. They also go perfectly with these sand clogs.
