At this point, my closet make up is 90% clothing items I can wear to work. I’ve always worked in a casual work environment so over the years I’ve stuck to buying things that I can wear everyday.
So, my closet for the most part consists mainly of jeans, button ups, and work appropriate dresses.
It always feels kind of pointless to buy something I can only wear on weekends right? Although, the one exception are shorts. Shorts I do buy without hesitation. Cause those I’ll change into immediately after work if I’m doing something in the summer.
I also walk to work now and never have had to before in the summer so we will see how that goes this year!
Alright lets talk more about the outfit I’m sharing today. It’s a new combination for me. I hadn’t worn this top with these pants until last week to work.
These pants are new so I’m still trying out different tops I like to wear with them. So, as I was getting dressed the other morning, I put these pants on first and went from there. I tried this top on with them and was like this is the outfit for the day. I loved it.
Don’t you love when you find new outfit combinations in your own closet? I sure do.
Looking to try chambray and denim for work? Swap out these sandals for flats, oxfords, huaraches, espadrilles, or even block heels. The fun thing about this combination is you can add in a fun color with your shoes or a scarf.
Also, this shirt is so comfortable. I could have sized down but decided to keep this one because I love the oversized look. If you are looking to getting a Tradlands button up just know they do run large.
