I finally had that first spring morning this year where you wake up and it’s warm out. It felt so energizing and exciting waking up to warmer weather. It also makes getting ready and picking out and outfit even easier too. Now that it’s officially spring and the weather is on it’s way to warmer days, it got me thinking about spring clothing. Specifically ethically made dresses for spring.
I love wearing dresses despite most of my everyday outfits I post on here and Instagram of jeans and tops. I don’t wear dresses so much in the winter but once it warms up, I start to wear them quite a bit more. I’m especially excited to wear the dress featured in today’s post!
Son de Flor Ethically Made Dresses
This beautifully made yellow dress for spring is from a clothing company called Son de Flor. They make oh so beautiful and whimsical clothing (mostly dresses). They’re clothing is so dreamy, elegant, and timeless.
What I love about the company is that their designs are meant to be timeless. Everything is thoughtfully and consciously made. You can read more about their story and what makes them ethical here.
What I especially love about their dresses is the way the skirts on their dresses are perfect for twirling. They have this wonderful vintage skirt shape to them that you don’t find much anymore.
From the colors to the shapes, Son de Flor makes such simply classic dresses and I’m very excited to share with you all one of their dresses from their new spring collection today! You can shop it here.
Sizing and Fit
As far as fit, it’s so incredibly comfortable. I’m wearing an XS (usually a size 4) and it fits perfectly. The material is soft linen and has a nice weight to it. The straps and square shape front make the full skirt look even more flattering and not overwhelming. I could wear this dress everyday. My favorite part? The button details on the side!
Thank you to Son de Flor for sponsoring this post.
