I think it’s safe to say the majority of you reading this have heard of or even shopped at Everlane at some point. For those of you that haven’t, let me introduce you to them today.
I didn’t realize I was a big Everlane connoisseur until I started finding myself wearing outfits made entirely of their clothes. Everlane is the first sustainable brand I ever discovered. Or really, the first brand that introduced me to the idea of thinking about who makes my clothes. And, without realizing, I had begun shopping almost exclusively from Everlane.
And that’s because it’s easy to do. When you go to their website, you won’t come across anything trendy, eclectic, or full of pattern. Everything is basic, simple, versatile. Meant to be worn seamlessly together as a whole. It’s going to a store and shopping a pre-curated wardrobe. An easy experience without the guilt of fast fashion. Not to mention it’s actually affordable.
So, owning quite a few of their items while also constantly combing through their site and Soho store, I thought I’d share my Everlane picks for a summer wardrobe. My favorite items on the site that I’d wear in a heartbeat now (if it weren’t for money) and things I do wear all the time.
Everlane Picks – Summer Favorites
The first of my Everlane picks are these denim shorts. If I hadn’t already just bought a pair of denim shorts before finding these, I would have bought these in a heartbeat to wear for many, many summers. They’re exactly what I picture when I imagine the perfect pair of denim shorts. Classic in every way. Mid-rise, denim blue, optional cuff. For $58, they’re a pretty reasonable summer wardrobe staple. Block Heel Sandals
I’ve had my eyes on these for awhile now. Especially these blue ones. Actually, I’m still undecided between wanting these blue ones or the same pair in black. You can’t go wrong with either or with any. Again, I discovered these after making my purchases for summer already so I didn’t end up buying them (yet!). But if there’s an end of summer sale, they’ll most likely be added to my wardrobe. Shop it here.
I just purchased an Everlane denim skirt for work purposes. I need a good length skirt to wear to work in this heat. Pants aren’t cutting it and dresses are tough finding a good length. So, I’m very much looking forward to styling this for summer work outfits. Plus, I have so many fall outfit ideas for a denim skirt. Shop it here.
As you can tell from this photo, I own this t-shirt. It’s my favorite. People throw that word around a lot. I try to save it for when I really mean it. And here I do. I really could wear this t-shirt every day. I’ve been wearing at least once a week this summer. It’s not too tight or too loose or too anything. The material and shape is everything I’ve ever wanted in a t-shirt. And I’ve tried a lot of t-shirts. Shop it here.
The last of my Everlane picks are these simple white shorts. I’ve been wearing these shorts pretty non-stop this summer. They’re extremely comfortable while being simple and easy to style. They’re stretchy and comfortable and run true to size. I bought the white to wear as an alternative to my jean shorts. Shop it here.
