I’m very excited to share today’s post! A post dedicated to sharing a few of my favorite ethical brands. Specifically, some slow fashion brands where I find my favorite classic wardrobe pieces.
When I first decided to reduce my fast fashion consumption and move more towards ethical brands, the hardest part was actually finding the slow fashion brands that met my style.
I’ve spent the past year researching, finding, and connecting with new, ethical brands. I have quite a few favorites and wanted to share a few of these favorites with you all today.
5 of My Favorite Ethical Brands
Choosing my favorite slow fashion brands is not an easy task. There are so many beautiful ethical brands making well made clothing out there.
There are many more that I love and do plan on sharing (and more I plan to discover and share) but for now let’s start with 5 whose items have become regularly worn pieces of my closet.
Tradlands is one of the first brands that I noticed when I started blogging about ethical fashion and still one of my favorites to wear. Their simple long sleeve and short sleeve button ups in beautiful colors are exactly what I love wearing.
If you’re also a fan of wearing button ups, especially to work, then you’ll love Tradlands. Oh and their t-shirts are made of the most comfortable and flattering fabric.

Ode to Sunday
Ode to Sunday is a brand I discovered more recently. Their minimal, classic, and timeless linen pieces fit my personal style so perfectly. I added two white linen tops to my closet for summer and they have already been some of my most worn pieces. If you’re looking for minimal linen pieces to wear over and over, Ode to Sunday is the perfect place to go.

Most of you are probably familiar with Everlane. They were the first slow fashion brand I ever discovered. They really introduced me to the whole idea of thinking about who makes my clothes.
I probably own the more items from Everlane than any other sustainable brand. Their price point is affordable and they make great, easy pieces to wear to work weekly.

If you’re looking for sustainable, handmade shoes that are classic and simple then Nisolo is the perfect place to look. Oxfords are my favorite style of shoes and usually, Madewell was one of the only places that I could find a women’s pair at a reasonable price.
Then I found Nisolo.
I could create my entire shoe wardrobe from their shoes and be perfectly happy. I recently received their woven mules and they instantly have made any simple outfit more chic.

Last but not least, my favorite place to find ethically made accessories. Especially hats. I recently connected with the owner of Equal Uprise and was introduced to her brand. When I looked over everything on the site, everything caught my eye. It was impossible to not want everything. But it was easy to choose an item that I knew I would wear and want to wear every single day.
If you’re looking for a classic felt or straw hat, check out Equal Uprise. Not only do they add a nice touch to a simple outfit, but they’re versatile enough to wear any season.
