This week has had the first few days of warm weather in NYC since winter started. I love the first day of 60 degree plus weather towards the end of winter. It’s always so refreshing and invigorating after a freezing few months. The weather has cooled down since then but now it’s not as cold and I’m really feeling inspired for warmer winter weather outfits.
My winter uniform has been long sleeves, sweaters, jeans or pants, and boots. This week I finally got to break out my short sleeves and non-cold weather shoes. It feels so good! I’m really starting to feel antsy for spring but want to soak in the cool weather as much as possible until then. Do any of you feel the same?
I wore this outfit to work yesterday and it felt so stylish and so much less bulky without all the layers I’m used to putting on every morning.
I always forget I own this top. As I’m researching my spring wardrobe, I can tell that tighter crew neck tees in solid colors will be a go-to shirt in my outfits. They’re simple, put together, and go so well with jeans or wide leg pants. I just really love the simple tee shirt and high waisted jeans outfit formula for this slightly warmer weather.
Throw a cardigan on top of this combination, and it’s such an effortless look for not quite freezing temps.
