Fall Leaf Peeping in Peekskill, NY

My two favorite seasons are fall and spring. I love fall for the cool weather, holidays, and especially the fall foliage. Sadly, you don’t get much fall foliage in NYC unless you visit Central Park. So, the other weekend my Fiancé and I decided to take a day trip one hour outside of the city to soak in nature and beautiful fall views.

Today I wanted to share a quick post from our day trip. I wore a comfortable and warm outfit for an easy couple hour walk through some trails. We traveled to Peekskill, NY which is only an hour north of the city and extremely easy to get to. There are some really beautiful views and the fall foliage was stunning.

As for my outfit, I went with a thick sweater, wool coat, scarf, comfortable jeans, and my Chuck Taylors since they’re great for a lot of walking. My outfit was perfect for chilly weather and I’m glad I included enough layers to take off when the weather warmed up a bit.

So, here are some of the views from a day trip of leaf peeping!
