Overalls had been on my shopping wish list for a while until this spring. Originally, I had thought that I wanted a simple pair of denim ones until I tried a pair on. I was unsure if I would wear the denim overalls and didn’t want to buy them if I wasn’t sure.
After shopping around longer, I finally found these Madewell ones. I went to the store to try them on and loved the way they fit and felt. The color is so pretty and I like how they’re different from overalls you would usually see. I picked them up in the spring and wore them all summer long.
Now that it’s time to transition into fall, I want to keep wearing these even though they’re not too summery. So, I’ve been going through my wardrobe and finding ways to style overalls for fall.
I styled them here with one of my favorite chunky sweaters. These huarache sandals are also the perfect summer to fall transition shoe. Not quite a sandal but not quite a loafer. They paired well with the shorts and sweater together! A perfect blend of summer and fall.
Some other ideas to style overalls for fall: a white button down, a long white sleeve t-shirt, a navy shirt or a sweater, a t-shirt, or a suede jacket.
