Happy Monday! Today is an unusual Monday for me as I start a new job today. Which means I’ll be switching from everyday casual to casual outfits that are ready for work. I’m excited to start sharing these work outfits with you all on top of my casual ones.
As the seasons start to change again and summer winds down, I’ve been thinking a lot about different fall outfits to wear. Today I’m sharing a simple combination that I’ll be wearing a lot: a monochrome outfit.
A monochrome outfit is an outfit that is all one color. If you own any pants or skirts already in a solid color, you can probably make one with what you already own.
Wearing a monochrome outfit is an easy way to mix up your daily outfits. It can be work and casual friendly and the look I’m sharing today is one I will be wearing a lot this fall. I love how effortlessly chic wearing all one color looks. Plus, it will be a simple and appropriate style to wear at my new job!
I’m noticing that I’m very drawn to navy clothes lately. I find navy easy to wear with any other color. As a result, I’m able to create a few navy monochrome outfits with my current wardrobe.
What are your favorite color combinations to wear as we move into fall? Would love to hear in the comments!
Pants || Note: I’m going to be wearing these pants all fall and winter. They’re the perfect everyday, comfortable pant
Top || Note: Linked a similar J.Crew t-shirt to the one I’m wearing. A t-shirt is the easiest item to have in your closet to create monochrome looks.
Shoes || Note: A more affordable option to the Gucci loafer.
Watch || Note: The Daniel Wellington watch is a classic time piece to wear with any outfit. I still love wearing watches even though I have my phone.
